Every time we say goodbye I dye a little

This is possibly as happy as this child has ever been. I used Manic Panic Red Passion on him and Beyond the Zone in Huckleberry on Mr Four. Even their dad got the gray covered up with blue. Then we went to the mall and got portraits done - hell, I even found a dress! See our adventures on Flickr.

  1. Wow. You're so cool. My mother wouldn't even let me cut my hair, let alone dye it. Which is why I got two tattoos within a month of going away to college. Viva la rebellion!

  2. That is awesome! After I dyed my hair purple, both the kids wanted to dye their hair, too. The Z went with green and Big D picked blue. All my friends thought I was nuts, but dammit, my kids looked cool!

  3. Did I miss something? Why are you dyeing your children's hair? Not that there's anything wrong with that. My mom started me on the long, slow road to grey-denial by dyeing my hair "temporary" red when I dressed up as Pippi Longstocking for Halloween the year I was 10. 30 years later, it still hasn't washed out. ;-)

  4. Jaime - SSW is getting married, and remember he had blue hair for a long time? So a batch of us decided to show up to his wedding with our hair blue, and the kids got wind of it...

I'm going to the salon today, I may not go blue after all, could be too harsh for me. I'm thinking pink, or two-tone. Any ideas?
